T.AR series thrust bearings in series must bear preload of 1% of basic rated dynamic load. As a result, a minimum load can be provided to avoid skidding damage during no-load operation. In addition, it can ensure that the stiffness is within the linear range of the characteristic curve. The positioning of bearings with respect to the second shaft (the cochlear shaft) is simplified.

This is especially important when bearings of different designs are used on the two output shafts.
