ZWZ developed a gearbox joint bearing for famous brand commercial vehicle

A well-known domestic auto group and an European auto manufacturer established a joint venture for producing commercial vehicles. Last March, the joint venture launched a project for localization of commercial vehicle gearbox bearings, and ZWZ was chosen as one of the candidate suppliers. 

The project aims to launch the first heavy-duty gearbox after the company is founded, thus to end the history of no self-developed heavy gearbox of the well-known domestic auto group.

According to an engineer of the Automotive Bearing Research Institute of ZWZ Engineering Technology Center, this commercial vehicle used to rely on exported bearings, and the company attaches great importance to the localization of gearbox joint bearings.

At present, the customized joint bearings developed by ZWZ have been installed for trail operations by the customer, with all technical indicators proved to be at the level of foreign products. 

This successful delivery has laid a good foundation for furture cooperation between ZWZ and the famous European auto manufacturer.
