ZWZ Aims to be the Global Largest Wind Turbine Bearing Manufacturing Base

ZWZ Group recently held the conference on the Domestic Technology of Bearings for Wind Power Generating Equipments in Furama Hotel Dalian. 70 related enterprises were invited to attend this conference, among which 20 ones signed a cooperation agreement with the group, totally valued at RMB 1.5 billion, and ZWZ would research & develop and offer the bearings to its future partners.

With a total investment of nearly RMB 1 billion, the Domestic Technology Enhancement Project about the parts of MW windpower equipments was finally approved by National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) for ZWZ to further expand the production capacity in Dec 2008.

Reportedly, the group will produce 8,000 sets of bearings for speed increaser, main shaft bearings, electric motor bearings, etc. and 2,000 wind power assembly parts by the end of this year. ZWZ will aim to be the largest global wind turbine bearing manufacturing base in the future.
