ZF Hangzhou Site Put into Formal Operation

June 26, ZF Friedrichshafen AG Hangzhou Co.,Ltd held opening ceremony in Xiaoshan Development Zone, Hangzhou. This marked the formal operation of ZF Friedrichshafen AG Hangzhou Co.,Ltd.

The company founded in 2005 with total investment over $19.26 million, registered capital $7.71 million. They mainly engaged in producing auto and manual gear transmission for commercial cars, developing other related products and parts as well as providing post-sale services. With designed annual output of 40,000 sets, they will become the leading gear transmission producer in the Development Zone.

ZF Friedrichshafen AG, founded in 1926, is well known all over the world for its driveline and chassis technology. They mainly produce gear box, chassis parts, bearings etc. Many famous auto manufacturers are their customers, like BMW, Benz, Volvo etc. In 2004, their annual operating margin were Euro9.9 billion, ranking 15th among all the world top auto makers.
