Xuchang Plan to Fuel Its Local Auto Parts Industry

Xuchang city, He'nan province planned to invest RMB1.23 billion to fuel its local automobil parts industry. The plan will be carried out since this Sept.

Major auto parts enterprises in Xuchang include Xuchang Far East Shaft Co.,Ltd, Wanxiang Qianchao Zhongya Co.,Ltd etc. They mainly specialized in automobile drive shaft assembly and relevant products, universal joint assembly, differential gear, auto disc etc. According to their plan, about 10 key projects will be built in Xuchang. Then, Annual shaft output of Xuchang Far East Shaft Co.,Ltd will reach 2 million sets, annual export will hit 5 million sets; annual univeral joint assembly and differential gear output will be 18 million sets. After the plan being realized in 2010, annual capacity of auto shaft will be 13.5 million sets; universal joint assembly will be 18 million sets, which will take up more than 40% of the market share respectively. The sales of auto parts industry in Xuchang will hit RMB10 billion yuan.
