Xinchang County devotes to creating a bearing industry service platform

Zhejiang Bearing Industry "Machine Substitution" communication meeting was recently held in Xinchang, Zhejiang, where a bearing industry service platform based on four key units: Zhejiang Toman Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University of Technology and Xinchang National Small and Medium Bearing Product Quality Inspection Center was officially established.

Zhejiang is one of the most important large province of bearing industry in China, with its bearing output accounting for nearly half of the national total output. In 2014, 80 key scale bearing enterprises in the province achieved double-digit growth in profits, industrial added value, and other eight major economic indicators.

Bearing industry is a traditional industry in Xinchang County. By the end of 2014, there were 52 above-scale bearing enterprises in total in the county, with bearing product exports accounted for 40% of the total provincial volume.

Earlier this year, Xinchang Bearing Industry was recognized as "Machine Substitution" pilot industry for the year of 2015 by Economic and Information Commission of Zhejiang and Finance Department of Zhejiang.

According to the plan, the service platform is to become a professional engineering service center for product development, technical support, talent introduction & training and after-sales services based on the advanced experience of universities and research institutes within and outside of the province as well as equipment manufacturing enterprises.
