WTO Rules of Origin Meeting for Bearing Industry

The next WTO meeting for Country of Origin Rules is scheduled for Thursday October 9 at 10.00am Geneva, Switzerland.

The Bearing Industry Code of Conduct will present to WTO findings on streamline Rules for Country Identification. In short, the BICC requires to regulate markings or stampings the same for bearings to that of Package Labelling.

In other words, a mandatory Country of Origin stamping on Bearings to read the same on Packaging, Labels and Boxing.

This is particularly important for Consumers to assist in the protection against Counterfeiting & Private Labelling operators.
