WD Bearing Group, a world-class technology-oriented bearing manufacturer, recently announced the operation of its new plant in Jiangyin, Wuxi, P.R China, which turns a new page in the world's bearing industry.
Founded in August, 2000, as a top bearing supplier in China, WD specializes in R&D, manufacturing, sales and service of high-quality bearings. In order to make WD stand out as a symbol of quality, the company invested a lot in advanced CNC equipment and a complete set of precision inspection devices, committed themselves to building a high-quality team and brought in advanced manufacturing and management techniques from the USA, Germany and Italy.
WD Bearing Group's new Wuxi AWD plant has all been put into operation. Located in Qingyang Industrial Park, in Jiangyin, Wuxi, China, it is in close proximity to all of its logistical support needs. The new plant occupies an area of 30 acres, and represents an investment of 2,000 million CNY, which includes a 48,00 square meter science and technology complex and 20,000 square meters of manufacturing plants.
With 75 CNC grinding machines, 8 lines (including 2 automatic lines in P4 high precision, which will be ready by Nov. of 2012), WD's current capacity is 100,000 sets per month (2 shifts); which it is supposed to increase to 140,000 sets per month (2 shifts) in 2013. Furthermore, WD has strictly implemented ISO 9001 and 14001 in order to guarantee quality control and environmental protection.
The new WD bearing plant can be a modernized R&D and production base of precision roller bearings and non-standard special bearings. This achievement indicates that WD Group has taken great steps forward with the purpose of being a group which integrates marketing, R&D, production and precision detection together. All of this will bring brighter prospects to the sustainable development of the company.
