Wanxiang Large-sized Bearing Reach Global
Wanxiang Bearing company become qualified by UK A company for their large-sized bearings recently. According to Wanxiang Group, the bearings for A company is the largest one they had ever exported. This cooperation with A company will play an important role in improving Wanxiang's export-mix and expanding their international market.
The A company is a Global Fortune 500 auto parts supplier, mainly produce integrated systems, modules, parts and services for auto industry. They have over 120 factories in 25 countries. So far, they have setup 12 factories in China, manufacturing or assembling auto door system, parts for light-auto's exhausting system, axles, brakes etc. All products are produced for export or supplying leading domestic auto makers and other enterprises in construction machine industry.
Since 2003, Wanxiang Bearing company has begun to contact A company in accordance with their previous plan. Besides, they sent delegates to A company for technological exchange, managing to obtain first-hand informations. However, for long-term cooperation with a world leading bearing producer and lacking trust in Wanxiang's products, A company has been inactive in the cooperation, leading to little progress for years.
Through further contacting with A company, Wanxiang ultimately got an opportunity to be recognized in 2005. After service-life test, rigidity test etc. Wanxiang's QC brand bearing was accepted by A company. Then, the customer showed their intention to cooperate with Wanxiang at the end of 2005, placing small order to Wanxiang Bearing company. And the first order from A company contributed to a sales growth of RMB14 million for Wanxiang in 2005.
In order to further advance the cooperation of two parties, Wanxiang Bearing began to contact the auto axle factory in China which is invested by A company. And they succeeded in winning supplying qualification of this axle facotry in August 2006. Now they have obtained order from the factory to supply bearings worth of RMB10 million in 2007. And three types of the ordered bearings are solely supplied by Wanxiang and will be used as substitutes for imported ones.
The extensive cooperation with A company will play an important role in perfecting Wanxiang's products mix, raising their market shares etc.
