Wanxiang Installs New Hub Bearing Production Line

Wanxiang Group (China) has reportedly brought a new wheel bearing hub unit production system online, rapidly adding to other recent installations.

Built by a South Korean machinery manufacturer, the fully-automated and integrated hub unit line reportedly includes 14 multi-axis CNC stations, and 3 dedicated CNC drilling and broaching stations.

The Korean machinery company -- whose name does not translate well into English -- claims this new installation at Wanxiang is currently the world's fastest and most efficient hub bearing manufacturing production line.

For several years, Wanxiang has been making continuous investments in its bearing and bearing component manufacturing operations. Most recently, it contracted with KMT's Lidkoping subsidiary for several of the company's completely integrated Swiss-made assembly lines, also dedicated to wheel bearing hub units.
