Wafangdian Hunt Down Raw Steel to Ensure the Bearing Quality

Recently, the Bureau of Quality Supervision of Wafangdian city, Liaoning province inspected specially the raw steel of bearing enterprises within the jurisdiction and sealed up more than 300 tons of undocumented in-use steel from four enterprises, ensuring the raw meterial production quality and preventing the poor quality bearings from entering into market.

Wafangdian is the bearing manufacturing place with the reputation of "City of Bearing". There are more than 300 bearing manufacturing enterprises in the city and their bearings include spherical bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, thrust bearings etc, which are mostly used for large-sized machinery equipments in mining, steel mills, machine tools etc. There are various kinds of steel used for these bearings and all of them have a strict quality requirement and must have the production licence.

In order to control the bearing quality from the source, the Bureau of Quality Supervision of Wafangdian city have carried out the special rectification since the beginning of the year.
