Volvo to Up India Auto Parts Sourcing

The world's second biggest truck maker, Volvo, plans to increase auto parts sourcing from India, a top official said on Dec.10th. 2007.

"Already, we are buying components in India and are interested in buying more," Deputy Chief Executive Officer Jorma Halomen said at a news conference to announce a joint venture with India's Eicher Motors Ltd.He did not give further details.
