Valqua Industries Expands Outsourcing of Seal Material Production to China

Nippon Valqua Industries Ltd. is expanding outsourcing of fluorine resin processing and seal material production to Chinese companies in a bid to boost efficiency and increase earnings. The company, which has outsourced production of a limited number of products to only a few subcontractors, now plans to farm out production of most fluorine resin products destined for the local market, where quality standards are not as stringent. The firm also will outsource production of multipurpose seal materials for general equipment. Products made by subcontractors will be sold in China and also exported through a local sales subsidiary.

Nippon Valqua Industries, Ltd. engages in the manufacture and sale of industrial packing and gaskets, producing rubber, fiber products, resins, and metal packing products in Japan.

Nippon Valqua was founded in 1927 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
