Universal Stainless Hosts Supplier Event for ABMA Members

On Thursday, October 25, Universal Stainless and Alloyed Products hosted an ABMA supplier event at their new facility in North Jackson, OH. The event was attended by approximately 20 individuals, representing 10 different primary manufacturers and supplier members. Attendees learned about their current capabilities and witnessed the new facility in action through guided tours.



The North Jackson plant is a state of the art facility that produces specialty steels, including nickel alloy, stainless steel and low alloy steels melted via vacuum induction melting (VIM) followed by either electro-slag re-melting (ESR) or vacuum-arc re-melting (VAR). The facility also has a bar finishing shop with an SMX 650 Radial Forge for the production of both semi-finished and finished long products supplied both the North Jackson premium melt shop and the Universal Stainless
