Two Employees Buy Alaska Bearing Corp.

Two long-time employees of power transmission/bearing distributor Alaska Bearing Corp. have bought the business as ABCO LLC, according to a news release from IDC-USA, of which Alaska Bearing is an owner. Brian Leach and Larry Larson are now the new owners.

The company will continue operating under the name Alaska Bearing and will maintain its current location in Anchorage, retaining all staff and product lines.

"Over the years, Brian Leach and Larry Larson have worked extremely hard at Alaska Bearing so it is gratifying to see them take ownership of the company. This exemplifies a satisfying succession plan for independent distributors," said Jack L. Bailey, president & CEO of IDC-USA.
