TSB Open New Site for Global Expansion
According to Ningbo TSB Bearing Group, their new site has been put into practical use several days ago. The site covering 31,000 square meters, located in the Development Zone, South Yongjiang RD, Ningbo.
The man in charge of TSB said that they have invested over RMB30 million to introduce a group of high precision equipments and testing devices, which will help them seize more market shares for high-end bearings, do make themself more stronger and bigger.
TSB Group mainly produce bearings with diameter from 3 to 80mm, including deep groove ball bearing, tapered roller bearing, thrust ball bearing and non-standard bearing. So far, their products have been widely used in many fields such as electrical motor, automobile, electrical appliance, water pump, farm machine, transmission device etc.
With the guideline of high quality, TSB has operated stably for 16 years, establishing 8 production bases, 2 sales companies and a R&D center. They have become qualified supplier for many Global Fortune 500 companies, like JohnDeere, Maytag, Dana, Case New Holland, Electrulx, Douaglas etc.
In China, TSB has been in the Top 10 Sale Bearing Enterprises for many years. Besides, they suceeded in aquiring 29.93% of shares of Xiangyang Automobile Bearing Co.,Ltd (XAB), the largest domestic auto bearing producer, in 2006; and has become the third largest bearing exporter to USA in the world.
However, the TSB indicated that they have been facing pressures from both domestic and overseas competitors including Peer Corp, General Bearing Corp etc. Fast developing of the international bearing industry leads to fierce competition. To maintain the momentum of growth, TSB could but enhance their R&D capacity and improve product quality.
It's estimated that the new site will add an extra 25 million sets to TSB's annual capacity of deep groove ball bearing; accomplish an increase of RMB30 million in sale, enjoying a grwoth rate of 49%. Its annual profit will grow by RMB2.5 million, earning foreign exchange of USD3 million. Products from this new site will substitute for some foreign ones, making an important contribution to their domestic expansion.
Just several days ago, the company announced that they are planning to import advanced analyzing instruments this year to form a rigorous quality control system. And the plan will cost them RMB2 million.
