Tristar Plastics Rulon Bearings Used in Food Processing Equipment

Tristar has supplied its Rulon 641 bearings to a food processing equipment manufacturer for the drive and idle rollers that support the stainless conveyor belts in its systems.

With cooking temperatures above 400F for 12-18 hours per day, these bearings are subjected to difficult operating environments without lubrication.

Rulon 641 bearings offer the end user a self-lubricating, low-friction, FDA-compliant bearing that withstands the high operating temperatures without creating maintenance or noise issues.

They are non-abrasive, so will not wear the mating stainless steel shaft.

The material requires no special installation tools, operates at temperatures from -400 to 550F and can be cleaned using any sterilisation procedures required.

Rulon 641 can be used in any food-preparation equipment - whether hot, cold, wet or dry - including food-processing machinery, and packaging and bottling equipment.
