TR Fastenings introduces Swage nut for applications such as ultra-thin sheet metals

TR Fastenings’ engineering team has developed an easy-to-use sheet metal fastener. The Swage nut can be used in a number of applications, including ultra-thin sheet metals.

The Swage nut, which is available in metric or unified versions, can be used as an alternative to the hardened stainless steel self-clinching nut.

Key features and specifications
* Dimensionally the same as a standard self-clinch nut
* Easy to install, using the same method as a standard Hank rivet bush
* Stocks available to suit sheet metal thickness ranges from 0.6mm up to 2.0mm
* Can be used in a number of materials, including hardened stainless steel
* Available ex-stock in steel or stainless
