The selection and application principle of bearing
The bearing disposition not only includes rolling bearing, but also the relative assemblies of bearing, such as shaft and bearing box. And the lubricant is also indispensable part of bearing disposition. Because the lubricant must prevent attrition and corrosion, then the bearing can fully play the role. And the seal is also an important part. Because of its performance is vital to the cleaning of lubricant .Cleaning plays a long role in bearing life. That’s why lubricant and seal have become a part of SKF services.
In order to design the rolling bearing disposition, we need :
---to select suitable bearing type and
---to decide correct dimension of bearing
But it is not enough .We also should consider other aspects . For example :
---to choice suitable form and design of other parts in bearing device
---to coordinate the internal clearance or pre-loading correctly
---fixed device
---suitable seal
---the type and dosage of the lubricant
---the method of assembling and dismantling
The each aspect will influence the performance ,the reliability and the economy.
The amount of work is decided by we whether has similar experiences in bearing selection or not. We need do more work when we are poor in experience, particular requirement ,and giving special considerations in the cost and subsequent boundary of bearing disposition , such as more accurate calculation and examination.
