TIMKEN President Visit Yantai City

In the morning of Sept. 12, leaders of the government of Yantai city interviewed James W. Griffith, president and CEO of TIMKEN, at Dongshan Hotel.

The purpose of Mr. Griffith's travel to Yantai is to get more infomation about the investment environment of Yantai Economic & Technology Developing Zone, by the way, to present TIMKEN's expansion plan there.

Mr. Zhouqi, mayor of Yantai city, said that 9-year-lasting cooperation with TIMKEN has been proved to be favourable and TIMKEN's further expansion in Yantai will be welcomed. To facilitate TIMKEN's expansion plan, the local government will carry out some favourable policies.

At the end of this travel, Mr. Griffith showed his appreciation on the warmly reception from the whole Yantai city and he thought the investment environment in Yantai is so satisfactory for their further expansion. Also he will be willing to introduce other U.S. clients to invest in Yantai.
