Timken names supply chain manager

Timken Co. announced on July 15 the appointment of A. Marcin Binczyk as general manager of supply chain design and engineering for its steel segment. Binczyk joined Timken in 1997 and has held several management positions within the company, most recently as manager of supply chain development and international warehouse operations, the company said. He also served as deputy general manager of Timken's plant in Sosnowiec, Poland.

The Canton, Ohio-based company manufactures high-performance steel and mechanical components including bearings, engineered steel bars and tubes.
