The board of directors of The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of 16 cents per share, an increase of 1 cent per share. The dividend is payable on Sept. 6, 2006, to shareholders of record as of Aug. 18, 2006. It will be the 337th consecutive dividend paid on the common stock of the company.
