Nov. 19, 2006 Auto China 2006 exhibition opened in China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. TIMKEN, the world leading bearing producer, with their auto-related products attended this exhibition.

Automotive segment is a major business of TIMKEN. They produce bearings for chassis and power transmission system, such as wheel hub, steering system, accessories, engine, transmission devices etc. Now, TIMKEN's annual sales for this segment has reached USD2 billion, accounting for nearly 40 percent of its sum.

On this exhibition, TIMKEN displayed all their bearings suitable for automotives, including those can be used on heavy-duty wheel, engine, gearbox, axle etc.

It is reported that over 1500 auto makers from 20 countries have their booths in the exhibition.
