Oct. 22 MetalBiz--America's special steel producer, Timken issued the statement claiming to bring down the scrap surcharge of its seamless machinery pipes.
Surcharge settlement is adjusted down to US$190 per short ton from the previous US$215 per short ton, down by 11%.
Timken, located in Ohio, was initially special bearing steel manufacturer, in the meantime, it produced alloy seamless pipes, bar and wire rod.
