Timken Company Joined Forces with Tiayuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.

Timken Company(NYSE: TKR) recently announced that the company has provided bearing product solution for Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (TYHI for short). The solution has been trialed on the largest WK-55 mining excavator in the world developed by TYHI for more than one year. This year, the two parties has enhanced the cooperation in this field to meet the requirement of market development.

Timken Company has analyzed the working condition and machinery attribute of the WK-55 mining excavator in depth and provided the solution that included various tapered roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and self-aligning roll bearings. These products are mainly used for the key parts of the WK-55 mining excavator like moving, lifting and turning, etc. During the one-year trial in the open air in Pingshuo mining area of China National Coal Group Corp., WK-55 mining excavator passed the test of the extreme working condition. The high performance of Timken® bearing products has effectively guaranteed the smooth running of the machinery.
