Timken Company Enhanced Cooperation with Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.

Timken Company announced recently that the bearing product solution they provided to Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (TYHI) has commissioned on the world largest WK-55 mining excavator produced by TYHI for more than one year and this year the two parties will further the cooperation in this field to meet the development of market.

Through deep analysis on the working condition and machinery performance of WK-55 mining excavator, Timken Company supplied the comprehensive solution including various tapered roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and self-aligning roller bearings.

WK-55 mining excavator can be used for working condition of the 20 million tons large-sized open-pit mine, iron mine, as well as the peeling and collection of non-ferrous metals, etc, which can meet the requirement of various open-pit mine. The successful development of this equipment is an important milestone in the development of equipment from large-sized open-pit mines in China.
