Timken Alloy Steel Europe to Increase Steel Tubing Prices

CANTON, Ohio, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Timken Alloy Steel Europe Limited, a subsidiary of The Timken Company, announced it would increase base prices on all carbon and alloy steel tubing by approximately 20 percent. These price increases apply to all tubing despatched from February 1, 2005. Raw material surcharges will continue to be levied at the rates ruling at date of despatch.
