TimberTech(R) Offers Industry's First Complete Hidden Fastening System

TimberTech, a leading manufacturer of alternative decking materials has partnered with FastenMaster, the industry's most trusted brand of contractor-quality fasteners, to create TimberTech Cortex, a hidden deck fastener for perimeter and replacement boards, and stairs. When combined with TimberTech's CONCEALoc system, the result is the most comprehensive composite deck hidden fastening system on the market.

TimberTech Cortex is installed using a drill and the Cortex setting tool. Using the setting tool, installers simply drive the Cortex screw to a preset level below the decking surface. The Cortex plug is then placed into the hole and then gently tapped flush with the surface.

Hidden fastening offers a clean, attractive decking surface for the homeowner and a fast and easy installation process for the contractor. TimberTech Cortex and CONCEALoc are designed exclusively for use with TimberTech deck planks.
