Tianjin Customs Seized more than 30,000 pieces of Infringing Goods wthin Two Months

Recently, a company made an export declaration of hub bearings in the general trade pattern. According to the previous experience of bearing infringement cases, and after analysizing the type of goods, logistics trends, etc., the customs officers had doubt that the shipment secretly carried infringing goods. After thorough unstuffing inspection, a total of 8556 sets of brand bearings labelled NSK and KOYO under customs protection were found and verified to be counterfeit and infringing goods when contacting the IPR owner by customs regulatory department.

According to statistics, in the first two months of 2012, Tianjin Xingang Customs had seized six consignments of infringing goods in various types in the maritime export channels, with a total amount of 33,516 pieces, and the total value of $ 414,000.
