Recently, the scientific achievement identification meeting was held in Benxi city, Liaoning province, to identify the value of the oilfilm bearings made by Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd(THIC).
Experts attended the meeting are from national academies or institutes, like China Heavy-Duty Machine Industry Association, Shanghao Jiaotong University, Taiyuan Science & Technology University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Ansteel Group, Benxi Steel Group, Shougang Group etc.
During the meeting, all experts showed their appreciation of the bearings in both pragmatic and technological aspects. Taking the ZYC1500-75WJ for example. This bearing is tailored for the 3500mm rolling machine of Shougang Group.
The bearing was featured by keyless connection, dual-thrust full symmetrical structure, hydraulic pressure locking, improved seal, temperature control device etc. Therefore, the bearing enjoyed the advantages of great load capacity, smooth running, quality seal, easy install and remove, high reliability etc.
Finally, the experts concluded that THIC's oilfilm bearings has reached international level and should be popularized among all steel makers in China.
