On September 24, the three major scientific and technological projects in Luoyang, the "MW wind turbine bearings R & D" from Luoyang LYC Bearing Co., Ltd., "MW wind turbine design and manufacture technology of elastic support" from Luoyang Shuangrui Plastic Co., Ltd, "MW wind turbine blades and advanced manufacturing technology research and industrialization" from Luoyang Shuangrui Wind Turbine Blade Co., Ltd, passed the acceptance from expert group organized by Provincial Science and Technology Department.
The units undertaking the three project are all main members of "Henan Wind Power Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance". After nearly three years' research, Luoyang achieved major breakthroughs in MW wind turbine bearing, wind turbine generator system WTGS elastic support technology, wind turbine blade of advanced manufacturing technology successively, and gained a series of key core technology with independent intellectual property rights.
During the implementation of the major scientific and technological projects, there are 40 lines of MW yaw bearing , pitch bearing and the spindle bearing being developed, with the annual production of more than 4,000 sets of yaw bearings and pitch bearings, 2,500 sets of spindle bearing, 300 sets of 2MW wind turbine blades and 4000 sets ofMW wind turbine design and manufacture technology of elastic support products. In recent 3 years, the sales revenue has reached RMB 1.5 billion with good economic and social benefits.
