The Production Capacity of "New LYC Project" Rapidly Increased

On October 17, reporters learned from Luoyang Bearing Co., Ltd that the output value of "New LYC Project" exceeded 16.53 million yuan in this September, which provided the strong support for the 30% growth target of LYC this year.

Wind power and automotive bearing items of "New LYC Project" started the trail production in this July, during the short three months, the production capacity of wind power bearings has reached 141 sets monthly, which further exceeded the 100 sets design capacity; the output value of automotive bearings achieved 3 million yuan in September, increased by 2 million yuan compared with the last month. Besides, the equipment of precision bearing items has also started to operate.

It is reported that the "New LYC Project" will lay the solid foundation for LYC becoming the domestic largest bearings manufacturing enterprise. Especially for the wind power bearing items, adopted the national initiative "turning instead of grinding" processing, which improved bearings' life and processing accuracy, meanwhile the processing efficiency also increased six times, and the processing cost reduced 50%, thus to reach the world-class level.
