The Largest Universal Joint Developed in China

Recently, Kunshan Rongxing Power Transmission has developed the ultra-large univeral joint, delivering to the buyer Shagang Steel Group. The joint's diameter hit 1.25 meters, length 14.395 meters, being the largest universal joint in the world. It is a breakthrough to make localization of this key part for rolling machine, leading to lower production cost for domestic steel makers.

The two heavy-duty universal joints are produced for the 5 meter-width steel sheet rolling machine that will soon be put into use in Shagang Steel Group.

According to experts, the joint has surpassed similar imported products in diameter, length, loading capacity and other technical indicators, while its price is only one third of imported ones.
