The installation of bearing
Whether the installation of bearings is correct or not, it concerns about the precision ,life span and performance of bearing .Therefore ,the design and assemble department should fully pay more attention on the installation .We expect to be applied according to working standard .The working standard items are generally as bellows:
1. wash the bearing and the relative parts;
2. inspect the dimension and precise processing of the relative parts;
3. mounting;
4. inspecting after the bearing installation;
5. supply lubricants.
We hope open the bearing packing before its instant installation .It usually lubricate by grease, no cleaning ,directly filling grease. If lubricating by oil ,no cleaning in common type ,but should use clean oil to eliminate the anticorrosive composition .But the bearing without anticorrosive composition should not reserve for a long time because it easily rusts .
The mounting methods of bearing are different according to its structure ,coordination and conditions. The inner ring need interference fit because the bearing is rotating. The bearing with cylindrical bore usually pressured by press or hot attire. In case of bearing with tapered bore, we only directly install them on the axis or with the sleeve.
When bearings are installed in the shell, they usually pressed by pressure machinery or cold contraction coordination .Because the bearings have many clearance fit and interference value in the outer ring. When using the dry ice as the coolant , the vapor will be congealed in the bearing surface. Therefore ,we should take some suitable measures to guard rust.
The installation of bearing with cylindrical bore:
Extra small bearing widely adopts the means of pressing .For those bearing with cylindrical inner holes and requiring interference fit ,we should press them into the shaft or shells by means of mechanical or hydraulic pressure .The installing pressure directly exerted on the face of bearing ring with interference fit.
