The inspection and maintenance of bearing
We must practically do the regular maintenance (periodic inspection) of bearing in order to make them display and maintain their performance. Through the suitable periodic inspection, we can discover the breakdown in time and prevent the incidents before they occur. They are economical and important to increase the productivity.
1. washing
We must firstly record the outward by taking photography before dismantling the bearing. And confirm the quality of the surplus lubricant and take sample. Then wash the bearing.
1.The process is divided into two steps :rough washing and careful washing . It should put metal wire shelf at the bottom of container .
2.Rough washing:to eliminate grease or coherence with the bush
3.Careful washing: to rotate the bearing slowly ,and clean carefully
Usually the nature of the common detergent is neutral , dieses oil or petrol without water. And according to requirement ,we also may use warm lye . Whatever kind of detergent are adopted , it usually need filter to keep clean.
After washing ,we must immediately spread anticorrosive oil or anticorrosive composition.
2.inspection and judgement
In order to judge if the dismantled bearing can reuse ,we must special inspect its accuracy of dimension, rotating accuracy, internal clearance ,fitting surface ,raceway surface ,separators and seal.
If the bearing has the following damage, it must not reuse .It must be changed.
the break and flaw of the bearing assemblies;
the spilt of the raceway surfaces
