The Development & Industrialization Project of Urban Railway Traffic Bearing from LYC was Listed among Luoyang Science & Technology Plans

Recently, the development & industrialization project of urban railway traffic bearing from LYC has been listed among Luoyang science & technology plans, meanwhile obtained the grant of 600,000 yuan from Luoyang Finance Bureau.

The project including wheel bearings used for subway & light rail vehicles, and the main researching contents are bearing optimization design, processing technical process, material & heat treatment, experimental technology and sealing technology, etc, finally to breakthrough the bottleneck of the development for the domestic urban railway traffic bearings, thus to realise the localized substitution of urban railway traffic bearings.

At present, LYC has made technical exchanges with many urban railway traffic vehicle manufacturing enterprise to understand bearings' working conditions, on the other hand, LYC has mastered a number of key data by mapping & analysing foreign bearing samples, therefore to further optimize bearings' design scheme, improve bearings' performance, prolong bearings' service life. It is learned that the company which undertook the processing task has successfully trialed two types of subway bearings, and there are also another two types of bearings are undergoing the previous technical preparations. Besides, LYC has successfully repaired 82 sets of imported subway bearings for users in June, which provided valuable experience for the development of urban railway traffic bearings.
