Recently, after reviewed by the Strategy Promotion Committee of Famous Brand Products in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region strictly, Bayi Steel Co., Ltd. won the honourable title of "Famous Brand Products of Xinjiang" once again by 6 categories of products, i.e. hot-rolled strip, spring flat steel, hot-rolled steel plate and cold-rolled steel strip, color coated steel plate, galvanized steel sheet, cold-rolled steel sheet and cold-rolled strip, and with 4 major categories of metal products, that is, cold drawn steel wire, galvanized wire, cold-rolled ribbed steel bar, spiral welded pipe.

Reportedly, the evaluation and selection campaign of "Famous Brand Products of Xinjiang" started from 1990's. Since 2006, the evaluation standards of "Famous Brand Products of Xinjiang" was becoming more standardized and more strictly. Currently, the evaluation and selection standards cover four major aspects, that is, market evaluation, quality evaluation, profit evaluation, development evaluation, including nearly 60 evaluation items.

Bayi Steel's products were awarded with the title of "Famous Brand Products of Xinjiang"continuously, as long as a new developed products being launched into the market, Bayi Steel as always participate the evaluation and selection campaign of "Famous Brand Products of Xinjiang"actively. Since 2003, all of long steel products made by Bayi Steel has been awarded with the title of "Famous Brand Products of Xinjiang (including leaf spring). For the some reasons, the department concerned in the Xinjiang Uygur [Uighur] Autonomous Region hasn't settle down the related rules and specifications in the evaluation and selection standards of sheet and plate until 2009, through the review by the expert, the three categories of sheet and plate products had been awarded with the title of "Famous Brand Products of Xinjiang"officiallyin December, 2009.
