Targets of Fasten Parts Industry During The 11th Five-Year Plan

In 2005, with 3.9million tons' output, China ranked first around the world in annual production of fasten parts. Meanwhile, China's output of fasten parts have taken up 28% of the world total. However, there are still some problems that we should overcome in future.

Therefore, in The 11th Five-Year Plan, the central government had set several targets for the fasten parts industry in the following years.

1. Strengthen the cooperation with steel producers, make effort to develop new and high precision steel products.

2. Improve technologies in processing quenched and tempered steel and other related parts.

3. Enhance the technological level of mould manufacturing, popularize the application of vacuum heat treatment, new material plating etc.

4. Learn manufacturing expertises of cold heading machines from other countries, like Japan, Europe or American etc.

5. Adjust products mix, pay more attention to products with heat treatment, high intensity, non-standard, IT products related, automobile exclusive, Titanium ones etc.
