Taiyuan Heavy Industry's high-speed train wheel shaft localization project put into operation

The completion ceremony for high-speed train wheel shaft localization project carried out by Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co, Ltd. was held in the morning of Nov 29th, 2012. The foundation stone was laid on December 17, 2010 in Taiyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone.

After completion of the project, Taiyuan Heavy Industry, as the only domestic enterprise able to manufacture high-speed train wheel shaft and wheel pair integrated products, will gradually realize the localization of key components of the high-speed trains, so as to meet the development needs of high-speed trains, overloaded trains and urban rail transit, and promote Taiyuan Heavy Industry railway products to walk on the high-end, integrated, international path.

As announced by the company previously, after put into operation, the project will realize an annual sales revenue of 20.1 billion yuan and after-tax profit of 377 million yuan.
