Taiwanese Machinery Makers Confident in Vietnamese Market

A number of Taiwanese machine tools and machinery parts manufacturers showed up in the Metalex Vietnam 2007, held in the country's capital from October 11 to 13, seeing a prosperous prospect of the machinery industry in northern Vietnam.

These Taiwanese exhibitors included Pinnacle, Shin-Yain, Homge, Sheng Fang Yuan, Toptran and Luren. Their products on display were machining centers, toolholders, clamping tools, chucks, engraving and milling machines, hob cutters, and feeders for stamping machines.

With price advantages, they expected that they would win up to NT$10 million worth of orders at the show, even the show had one-third of
exhibition space occupied by Japanese companies including Takisawa, Yamazen, Makino, and Sodick.
