Suzhou Being one of the Four Largest Die & Mould Manufacturing Base of China

Suzhou City has grown to be one of the four largest die & mold industry areas in China, according to a speech on 2008 annual conference of Suzhou Die& Mold Industry Association.

Currently, there are more than 3,000 die & mold manufacturing companies in Suzhou, the city locating in Jiangsu Province, with a total value of RMB 7 billion.

In face of the challenges brought by the current global financial crisis, Ke Xiaorong, general secretary of Suzhou Die & Mold Association said: "The die & mold industry in Suzhou will not be fluctuant greatly."

Ke added, over the past 30 years, the business of the industry in Suzhou has never been affected greatly by any market changes. He also said that the crisis would bring opportunity for Suzhou's die & mold industry to improve its technological level, he added.
