By the end of 2005, bearings output of LYC Bearing Co.,Ltd had hit 24.297 million pcs, up 13.08% from 2004; sales reached 1.273 billion yuan, increased by 23.24% from their record high created in 2002; their profit hit 35 million yuan, far more than the planned 3.24 million yuan's 2005 target. All the above achievements are due to their structural and technical reform.
To reform their internal structure, LYC set up an adaptable administrative system by the standards of "market-oriented, standardization and methodicalization". LYC's management can be characterized by 3-Centralized and 5-Unified which include centralized purchase, centralized reserve and centralized fanicing; unified planning, unified purchase, unified allotment, unified distribution as well as unified management. The above reform help LYC lowered cost significantly and make indirect profit over 20 million yuan.
Production and operation also benefit from the reform. Link among purchsement, production and sale become more rational. In the mean time, they become more experienced in rationally resource-using and in exploiting as well as protecting the market potential.
In addition, the enterprise also reached some great achievements in technologies. For example, their railway bearings had been approved by US authorities; they developed new auto bearings to meet customers' demands. So far, LYC has successfully finished their thift from a company having monotonous product line to one can producing diversified products.
