STATE OF THE ART LASER THERMOMETER PROTECTS MACHINERY AND IMPROVES WORKPLACE SAFETY

INA FAG has launched the TempCheck PLUS thermometer, allowing customers to measure the temperature of hard to reach or moving machinery components. Its laser, which provides precision measurement, will help machine operators to act proactively against possible problems, therefore restricting any expensive downtime to a minimum.

The TempCheck plus measures the infrared radiation emitted by an object and uses this to calculate surface temperature. Its most important feature is its ability to easily measure the temperature of a component without having to touch its surface. This means the operator can safely assess the temperature of a part within a range of -32
