Spanish NB Cojinetes de Friccion Setup New Company in Sichuan

The NB invested, NB Feihong Auto Parts Co.,Ltd has begun its first stage construction on Jan. 24 in Innovation Industrial Park, Suining city, Sichuang province.

The groundbreaking ceremony was inaugurated by Cui baohua, secretary of Suining Municipal Committee of the CPC and Alejandro.Alvar.Gonzalez, Spanish ambassador to Shanghai.

With total investment of RMB120 million, the first phase construction of the new comany are expected to be finished and put into production in 2007. Its products are mainly for world leading auto makers like BWM, CITROEN etc.

NB is one of the two world leading slide bearing producers. They have formed a joint venture, NB-BECO Auto Parts Co.,Ltd, in Pudong district, Shanghai. Now, through establishing another company in Suining, Sichuang province, they aim to seize more market shares in West China in advance as well as to have two complementary subsidiaries in West and East China respectively.

NB Cojinetes de Friccion S.A. has been designing, manufacturing and marketing friction bearings, bushings and thrust washers since 1965. Their main market is the automotive sector.
