South Regions Minority Business Council Recognizes Bill Stevens and Motion Industries

The South Regions Minority Business Council (SRMBC) has recognized Motion Industries, a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, and its President/CEO, Bill Stevens for commitment to Supplier Diversity. The 2008 Crystal Award for CEO/Executive of the Year was presented at the SRMBC's annual Crystal Awards Luncheon as part of the 25th Annual Business Connections Conference event in Montgomery, Alabama.

The Crystal Award recognizes the CEO, President or Senior Level Executive of a corporation or government entity, which is a current corporate member of the SRMBC. The criteria include evidence of support of a corporate-wide minority business development program through an executive directive and/or policy statement, participation with NMSDC or other national organization(s) which promote minority business development, and executive participation in SRMBC through workshops, events and/or conferences.
