SKF WINS innovative product of the year awards

By virtue of its upgraded version of SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings, was awarded by the industrial design of the innovative product of the year award from the magazine. New generation of innovative products as original SKF Explorer bearings, upgrade version of the products has been significantly improved, fully reflects the latest SKF product research and development technology.

2012 is SKF's 100 anniversary of operating in China, and it was released the upgraded version the year SKF Explorer bearings. This product combines the quality of clean steel and improved heat treatment process, achieving an excellent balance between hardness and toughness, which has a higher resistance to wear, compared with the original product, service life increases 1 time, applies in particular to high levels of pollution and insufficient lubrication of the application environment. When the bearing wear is detected, the product can be run over a longer period of time in order to provide more time to prepare, reduce unplanned downtime and associated costs. This product also can be achieved by reducing the energy consumption of lubricants and as well as compact to minimize impact on the environment.
Since its launch in 1999, SKF Explorer performance series has been acclaimed. Today, all standard SKF spherical roller bearings and CARB toroidal roller bearings, and most of the spherical roller thrust bearings are manufactured according to SKF Explorer performance class, and with the use of upgraded version of SKF bearing steel, reached a new level of performance.
