SKF Names Nelander to Aerospace Unit

SKF AB (Sweden) has named Erik Nelander as Director, SKF Aerospace Business Unit.

Mr. Nelander had been Managing Director SKF Sverige AB and Manufacturing Cluster Manager of the Industrial Division's Self Aligning Bearings unit.

Mr. Nelander will report to Henrik Lange, Industrial Division President.

The former head of SKF Aerospace, Kaj Thoren, will be retiring later this year and is winding down his responsibilities. For now, Mr. Thoren will continue integration support for the Industrial and Automotive Divisions, and take on individual Group projects.

Replacing Mr. Nelander as Managing Director of SKF Sverige AB and Manufacturing Cluster Manager will be Carl Orstadius, Industrial Division Business Controller.
