SKF Dalian Sets Goal on Wind Power Equipment

Sweden- based SKF (Dalian) Bearings and Precision Technologies Co. Ltd. held an activity, the Day of Wind Power Clients these days.

The event attracted nearly thirty gobally well- known manufacturers in the wind power industry to gather at the Development Zone, Dalian, northeastern China.

The subsidiary of SkF Group, which is claimed the biggest bearing provider throughout the world, set its future goal of developing in the field of wind power equipments.

China is ranked the fifth in terms of wind power development with the aggregated capability reaching 6.04 million kilowatts.

However, the new resource of energy takes up low percentage of all energy utilization.

According to the plan for the year 2009, 73 per cent of total output of the SKF Dalian will be yielded from the wild power equipments.

SKF (Dalian) Bearings and Precision Technologies Co. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of SKF Group, was established on March 23rd, 2005. The company locates in Dalian Economic Technological Development Area.
