SKF Announces to Support Chinese Youth Football Teams Participating in Gothia Cup

(June 15, 2011, Shanghai) SKF announces to offer support to two Chinese football youth teams to participate in Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden in July, where they will compete with 1500 teams from more than 60 countries worldwide and obtain happy experience in the worldwide youth football event.

As the main partner of Gothia Cup, SKF started Meet the World across the globe in 2007 and sponsored the winning teams to participate in Gothia Cup in Swede.

Dalian No. 6 Middle School girls' team in Dalian, Liaoning Province won the championship of this year and is qualified for Gothia Cup. With the recommendation by China Youth Development Foundation, another travelling team, the Sandu Hope School boys' team, from Guizhou Province, whose players performed well in a series of domestic football games, is selected by SKF to take part in the event together with the girls' team as well as over 30000 youth football players, aiming to provide the youth in the underdeveloped area of China with the same opportunity to share the sport event and experience happy sport. SKF will fully sponsor the two Chinese teams in visa application, return ticket, accommodation and transportation, team uniforms etc.
