SINOPEC Lubricant Get ISO/TS16949 Certificate

TUV Rheinland Group China formally granted the ISO/TS16949 Certificate to SINOPEC Lubricant Company on Jan. 11, providing the company a membership of world advanced quality management system for auto products.

Taking the principle of "customer centric; quality first and excellent service", SINOPEC Lubricant company has become the leader in domestic lubricant industry. To adapt to development, regularize internal management and improve their quality control system, the lubricant company and all SINOPEC subsidiaries related to auto industry decided to apply for the ISO/TS16949 as a whole in November 2005.

After a year's efforts in preparing for assessment, compiling necessary documents and upgrading their previous quality systems, the lubricant company and all other subsidiaries ultimately passed ISO/TS16949 altogether in the late December 2006.
